पंजाब मुख्यमंत्रियों की सूची और कार्यकाल

Punjab state was formed in 1950. Since 1947, Punjab has seen 15 Chief Ministers starting from Giani Gurmukh Singh Musafir who took oath in Nov 1966 to the currently serving Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann who took oath in March 2022.
Gopi Chand Bhargava was the first CM of Punjab, during the Partition of India and before Independence, who took oath in 1947. Rajinder Kaur Bhattal became the first female Chief Minister of Punjab and overall the 8th female chief minister in India.There have been five instances of President's rule in Punjab. The major ruling party has been Shiromani Akali Dal (INC), INC.
