पश्चिम बंगाल में पंचायत चुनाव संपन्न, हिंसा को लेकर गृह मंत्रालय ने मांगी रिपोर्ट
कोलकाता। पश्चिम बंंगाल में पंचायत चुनाव के लिए मतदान संपन्न हो गया। सुबह 7 बजे से शुरू हुई वोटिंग शाम 5 बजे तक चची। इस बीच राज्य के अलग-अलग हिस्सों से हिंसा की खबरें सामने आई। चुनाव में हिंसा घटनाओं को लेकर केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय ने राज्य सरकार से रिपोर्ट तलब किया है। वहीं चुनाव से पहले चुनाव आयोग ने शांतिपूर्ण मतदान का दावा किया था, लेकिन अभी तक हुई हिंसा में कई लोगों के घायल होने और टीएमसी के एक कार्यकर्ता समेत करीब 10 लोगों की मौत की खबर है। हिंसा में 5 स्थानीय पत्रकार भी घायल हुए हैं। कई जगहों से बूथ कैप्चरिंग की खबरें भी आई हैं।
