फेसबुक पर जुड़े राष्ट्रपति ओबामा, क्लाइमेट चेंज पर दिया संदेश
वाशिंगटन। राष्ट्रपति बराक ओबामा सोमवार को सोशल नेटवर्किंग साइट फेसबुक से जुड़ गए। जुड़ने के साथ ही उन्होंने एक वीडियो फेसबुक पर पोस्ट किया है। इस वीडियो में उन्होंने व्हाइट हाउस के लॉन के बारे में कई बातें कहीं जिसका संबंध पर्यावरण से थो और क्लाइमेट चेंज से था।
ओबामा ने क्लाइमेट चेंज का संदेश देने के लिए फेसबुक को इसलिए चुना क्योंकि उनका मानना है कि आज हर चार में से तीन युवा फेसबुक पर एक्टिव रहते हैं। ऐसे में इससे बेहतर प्लेटफॉर्म इस संदेश को देने के लिए कोई और नहीं हो सकता था।
ओबामा अपनी पोस्ट में व्हाइट हाउस के बैकयार्ड में टहलते हुए नजर आ रहे हैं। वह सभी देशवासियों से अपील कर रहे हैं कि उन्हें अपने इस ग्रह को सुरक्षित रखना पड़ेगा।
ओबामा ने इस वीडियो में संदेश दिया है, 'न सिर्फ मैं बल्कि हर अमेरिकी यही चाहता है कि आने वाले सभी राष्ट्रपति इस जगह पर मेरी ही तरह निश्चिंत होकर यहां पर आकर प्रकृति की खूबसूरती का आनंद उठा सकें।'
ओबामा के इस फेसबुक अकाउंट को अब तक 45 मिलियन लोग फॉलो कर चुके हैं। राष्ट्रपति ओबामा इस वर्ष मई में ट्विटर से जुड़े थे। जैसे-जैसे उनका कार्यकाल समाप्ति की ओर बढ़ रहा है वह सोशल मीडिया पर काफी सक्रिय हो गए हैं।
