Acting on an SOS alert sent via Mumbai’s Maritime Rescue and Coordination Centre, Pakistani authorities swiftly deployed a naval ship to provide emergency support. The crew—six Indians and one Indonesian—received food, medical aid, and technical assistance to stabilise the vessel and ensure their safety. The operation, supported by the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency, highlights an unusual moment of cooperation between the two nations despite ongoing tensions.
