1 मई यानी मजदूर दिवस के दिन आम लोगों और छोटे कारोबारियों के लिए महंगाई का बड़ा झटका सामने आया है। कमर्शियल LPG सिलेंडर के दाम में ₹993 की भारी बढ़ोतरी ने होटल, ढाबा और रेस्टोरेंट चलाने वालों की लागत अचानक बढ़ा दी है। दिल्ली में 19 किलो का सिलेंडर अब ₹3,071.50 का हो गया है, जबकि कोलकाता, मुंबई और चेन्नई में भी कीमतें ₹3,000 के पार पहुंच चुकी हैं। हालांकि घरेलू 14.2 किलो सिलेंडर की कीमतों में कोई बदलाव नहीं किया गया है, जिससे आम परिवारों को फिलहाल राहत मिली है। इस बढ़ोतरी के पीछे अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में उथल-पुथल, खासकर ईरान-अमेरिका तनाव और होर्मुज जलडमरूमध्य से जुड़ी चिंताएं बड़ी वजह मानी जा रही हैं। लेकिन इसका असर आम लोगों की जेब पर अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से जरूर पड़ेगा, क्योंकि खाने-पीने की चीजें महंगी हो सकती हैं। On May 1, celebrated as Labour Day, a major inflation shock has hit common people and small business owners. The price of commercial LPG cylinders has surged by ₹993, sharply increasing operating costs for hotels, dhabas, and restaurants. In Delhi, a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder now costs ₹3,071.50, while prices in Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai have also crossed the ₹3,000 mark. However, there has been no change in the price of the 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder, providing some relief to households for now. The steep hike is largely attributed to volatility in inte ational markets, particularly rising tensions between Iran and the United States, along with conce s surrounding the Strait of Hormuz. Despite no direct increase in household cylinder prices, the impact is likely to be felt indirectly, as food and dining costs may rise due to higher business expenses.
