कोच्चि। सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा सभी आयु वर्ग की महिलाओं को प्रवेश की इजाजत दिए जाने के बाद पहली बार केरल के सबरीमाला मंदिर के कपाट खोल दिए गए। प्रशासन ने बताया कि मंदिर के कपाट शाम 5 बजे खुल गए हैं। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले के बाद केरल के सबरीमाला मंदिर में सभी आयु वर्ग की महिलाओं को प्रवेश की इजाजत तो मिल गई लेकिन इसको लेकर विरोध भी देखने को मिल रहा है। विरोध में उतरे लोगों में बड़ी संख्या में महिलाएं भी शामिल हैं जिनका कहना है कि ये धर्म और आस्था का मामला है, मंदिर में सभी आयु वर्ग की महिलाओं को प्रवेश नहीं मिलना चाहिए। वहीं विपक्ष केरल सरकार से सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले को लेकर पुनर्विचार याचिका दायर करने की मांग कर रहा था लेकिन सरकार ने साफ कर दिया था कि पुनर्विचार याचिका दायर नहीं की जाएगी।
